Creating Change Together
At Together We Eat, our mission is to nourish communities through food, education, and shared care. We provide access to wholesome meals, teach food preservation and sustainability, and create opportunities for connection and volunteer service. By reducing food waste, building resilience, and fostering dignity, we bring people together to strengthen local communities and inspire positive change—one meal, one skill, and one connection at a time.
Learn, Cook, Share
Our baking and cooking classes teach practical skills while bringing the community together. From preserving food to creating healthy, delicious meals, participants gain knowledge, confidence and connection. Every class is an opportunity to learn, share, and strengthen the resilience of our local food systems.
Preserve & Thrive
Our food preservation classes teach practical skills for storing and preparing food safely, reducing waste and building resilience at home. Participants learn techniques that empower them, strengthen their families, and support a sustainable, connected community.
Sustainably Gather
Our shellfish harvesting classes teach safe, sustainable techniques for gathering local shellfish while respecting ecosystems. Participants gain hands on experience, learn about marine stewardship, and bring home skills that support both their family and the health of our community’s coastal resources.
Forage & Flourish
Our wild food foraging classes teach sustainable ways to identify and harvest edible plants from nature. Participants gain hands on skills, deepen their connection to the land, and learn to bring nourishing, seasonal foods home while respecting local ecosystems.
Volunteer and Grow
Our community volunteer events bring neighbors together to serve meals, support local projects, and strengthen connections. Every opportunity allows participants to give back, build relationships, and contribute to a caring, resilient community.
